Dr Shatakshi Sood

Dr. Shatakshi Sood is Associate Scientific Director, Immunology at RoukenBio, where she leads immunology strategy and assay development for discovery-stage therapeutic programs. Her expertise spans primary immune cell systems, functional bioassays, and translational immunology focused on autoimmune, inflammatory, and allergic diseases.

Dr. Sood’s work centers on developing and delivering high-content immunological assays, including cytokine profiling, phagocytosis and ADCP assays, and immune cell activation and metabolism readouts. She has a particular interest in the mechanistic underpinnings of allergy and hypersensitivity, applying advanced cellular and molecular approaches to elucidate immune regulation and therapeutic response.

With a PhD in Immunology and Infection Research from the University of Edinburgh and over a decade of research experience across academia and industry, Dr. Sood brings a rigorous technical and analytical foundation to building reproducible, quantitative workflows that accelerate immunotherapeutic development.
