Athanasios joined us in 2024 as our Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate. This is a collaborative project between RoukenBio and the University of the West of Scotland, which will lead to the development of a wide range of 3D models for customers. Athanasios will be working with our CSO and the R&D team to develop tissue-based explant, tumoroid, and organoid models.
Following his PhD in Gastric Premalignant Lesions, Athanasios has a varied career in academia and industry. He is passionate about advancing the understanding and treatment of cancer and other diseases through innovative and cutting-edge technologies.
