Michahaila is one of our Founders. As Chief People Officer, Michahaila's role doesn't require a test tube or pipette but a genuine drive to see individuals succeed. With a degree in Applied Psychology and experience in the social care sector, she has transferred her skill set to people management. Michahaila is also currently studying for an MBA at Durham University, due to be completed in September 2025. 

Michahaila's ultimate goal is to make RoukenBio a fantastic workplace. Since RoukenBio’s inception, she has helped to initiate a social committee, wellness committee, mental health first aiders and various training and development programmes with support from local colleges and universities. 

Blending business acumen with a genuine passion for her colleague's personal and professional development, Michahaila is the glue that fuses our scientific world with the day-to-day running of the business.
