Scientific Director of Innovation
Daria Paruzina joined RoukenBio as Scientific Director of Innovation, bringing extensive experience in cell therapy, immunotherapy, stem cell biology, translational research, and advanced human biology platforms.
Her career has focused on translating complex biological research into clinically relevant therapeutic and research platforms. During her medical training at the Russian State Medical University, she developed a strong interest in stem cells, including hESCs and hiPSCs. She later continued her research at the University of Edinburgh, studying the emergence of definitive haematopoiesis in human embryos.
Before joining RoukenBio, Daria held senior scientific and operational roles at TC BioPharm and The Francis Crick Institute, where she helped establish the Human Biology Facility to support stem cell research and human-derived model systems.
At RoukenBio, Daria is responsible for driving innovation across advanced platforms, human biology models, and bespoke services, helping clients develop robust, translationally relevant solutions from discovery research towards clinical application.
